BOB (“Best of Biotech – get your business started”) is an international life sciences business plan competition organized by Life Science Austria (LISA), a program run by the Austria Wirtschaftsservice on behalf of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Economy, Family and Youth. After four very successful BOB competitions since 2000, BOB is now being organized for the fifth time, to be held in 2010.

BOB 2010 takes place between February and October 2010.
The competition is divided into 2 stages:
Phase 1 – Best Business Ideas (February-April 2010)
Phase 2 – Best Business Plans (May – October 2010)

Prizes:
Phase 1 – The best Business Ideas -The three best business ideas each receive a prize of EUR 1.500,-
Phase 2 – The best Business Plans – The three best business plans will be selected by an international jury and the prizes will be awarded at a special ceremony in Vienna. The cash prizes will be as follows:
First prize EUR 15.000,-, second prize EUR 10.000,- and third prize EUR 5.000,-
