isiQiri – a new interface between man and computer
isiQiri has developed the Q-foil technology, a novel sensor that can trace a light spot over a large surface area. Based on an advanced coupling of modern opto-electronic devices with a high-tech plastic foil comprising optically active molecules, this technology yields a flexible and highly transparent sensor. Less than a millimeter in thickness and bendable, a Q-Foil can pinpoint and trace the location of a light spot hitting its surface with high accuracy.
High cost efficiency and an unprecedented ease of tailoring the size and accuracy to the demands of manifold applications allow the Q-foil to be the basis of a new generation of human interface devices. Q-Foils are facilitating and enhancing the interaction of people with computers, robots and other high-tech machinery.
Q-foils can be integrated into a wide range of products inviting people all over the world to “Hit the spot” in many important areas of their life:
- while enjoying and relaxing interactive games using the Q-foil as a flexible and intuitive interface device
- with one of the office applications enabled by Q-foils
- in training situations where Q-Foils facilitate documentation
- with one of the various other applications where the use of Q-foils will extend your possibilities
The Q-Foil technology is owned by isiQiri and protected by several patents pending.
