Aerospy – The flying robot

AeroSpy is an Upper Austrian start-up company with its registered office in Linz. It focuses on the development, assembly and distribution of unmanned micro aerial vehicles (MUAV) – technology platform, the AS-400, plus required cameras and sensors.

Furthermore, the company cooperates with institutes at the Johannes Kepler University Linz in one of the projects funded by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency for the development of a highly autonomous auto-pilot allowing future unmanned aircrafts to fly in civil air-space. Products by AeroSpy will be used for any kind of air-supported applications. The prototype can carry various payloads and perform different actions due to its high autonomy, e.g.: air photography, 3-D reconstructions or security applications. After entering the market for air photography, in a second step AeroSpy will also offer various software modules for the automatic 3-D reconstruction and 3-D rendering of real environments.
