CIT – Automated programming by robots
The firm CIT – Convergent Information Technologies GmbH has developed a software tool to program robots automatically. The CIT tool plans the complete robotic application for different processes fully or semi-automatically. Collisions or limitations of the range of action are automatically avoided. At the same time an optimal process quality is ensured.
The CIT tool was already used for process simulation and semi-automatic programming of cells by machine constructors for a 100% inspection of chassis and accessory parts for automobiles.
